Today in class:
Math: We finished up with mixed numbers and improper fractions. Tomorrow we will begin working on decimals.
Language Arts: We responded to a writing prompt about sports programs in middle schools. We also had time to work on our PhotoStories.
Social Studies: We worked on Maps. We used the Atlas to find places in South America. We also labeled the countries and capital cities on a paper handout. We also began exploring the "coolest" map tool I have ever found on-line!! Students will create their own maps and themes using this tool. It is incredible so you should check it out if you get a chance. Map Tool
